Neil also performs the score to Barbara Hammer's 1990 experimental film Sanctus, featuring a host of x-ray skeletons playing trumpets, drinking, shaking hands, shaving, putting on lipstick, all to the live mashup of Sanctus movements from masses by Machaut, Bach, Beethoven & Verdi.

Neil will perform a preview of Messages,  a new solo CD & digital release which will come out later this year on the Neuma Recordings label.  The release brings together new recordings of live performance pieces spanning his career since 1987.  Some have never been recorded, and some have evolved since they were released on earlier CDs.  The title track is a celebration of the life of his late wife Wendy, whose courageous battle against cancer provided a model of strength, graciousness, cheerful outlook, and ultimate acceptance of our own mortality.
